Evening everyone – thanks for stopping by. It’s day two of on-campus interviews for the UW-La Crosse football head coach opening. News 8 Sports Director Gregg Wavrunek was on hand this afternoon. And he joins us now with more… Hi Charlie. Today it was Jim Zebrowski’s turn to make an impression. and let everyone know why he should be the next head football coach at U-W-L. Zebrowski most recently served as the Minnesota Gophers quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator. kidney punch It didn’t take long before his old boss at UW-Whitewater Lance Leipold put in a phone call saying the opening at UW-La Crosse might be exactly the next job he’s looking for. Prior to Minnesota. Zebrowski was mostly working in the Division three ranks following graduation at Mount Union. But fresh off being a coordinator at a major D-one program. Zebrowski answers if there is interest to ever return to Division one. All of a sudden somebody says I can pay you $400,000 to do your same job, what would you do? At least listen to it. So I’d say yeah if some crazy call comes I’ll listen, and that’s what everybody should say. If you’re not then you’re lying. But me, I don’t want to move our kids around. I’ve got to figure out if this happens and I hope it does, I’d be so happy, I cannot wait. But I don’t want to keep doing that at all and this is a place you can definitily be at for a long time.
