What are the SfEP forums?

The Society for Editors and Proofreaders gives me a community of other editorial professionals. Because I work on my own
in my spare room, if I come across a problem I need to be able to ask other
like-minded and engaged professionals. The main benefit to being a member of the Society for me is the community discussion forum, so it’s a private group
for members and you can go in there and ask questions in one of many different
sections. They are just fabulous. I don’t know how I’d do my job without
them. If you have a problem or a query or something you don’t understand you can
just put a notice on the forum and you will often find you’ve got five, six,
seven answers from real experts and really experienced people. To be honest
for me the main benefit of membership and it’s something I’d love to see more
members taking part in, because I think that they’d get so much out of it.
