I’m Scott Levitan. I’m the Chief
Marketing Officer at Mercari. Our goal really is to make selling your stuff as easy as buying it. Mercari was founded in 2013 in Japan, and quickly became the leading selling and shopping app in the country. We knew we needed to introduce ourselves to the US and to the US consumer, so we
partnered with MightyHive who has a deep expertise in the Google Marketing
Platform to build the digital strategy to get us to be known in the US market.
We work closely together on everything from creative segmentation targeting
across the board to deliver results. We learned a lot about the effectiveness of
an omni-channel approach in which digital plays a pivotal role. I think
when you work with MightyHive, you’re not working with an agency, you’re
working with a partner. We’re just at the beginning of our journey to find the
path to becoming a known loved and used brand. We’re just the beginning of our
journey to make selling easier than buying, and having partners on the way
that allow us to learn the lessons of like what creatives work, what channels
work, what tactics work, what targeting works, what segmentation works. So I’m
really excited for us to go deeper together to find that path.
