Making a Post | HP Support Forum | HP

Welcome! This video shows how to ask a question on
the HP Support Forum. First, go to To ask a question, you have to be a member. If you are not a member, click Register to
create an account. If you already have an account, log in. The Forum is divided into categories, or boards,
based on the different types of HP products. Before writing a post, choose the category
most closely related to your question. For example, if you have a notebook, and you are having trouble connecting to the
Internet, click Laptop and Notebook Computers, then click Wireless, Internet and Home Networking. From this screen, you can click the orange
New Post button to post your question. If you do not know where to post your question, go to Search the Community and search for
your topic. Type your question in the Search box. For, example, if you cannot connect to the Internet and are getting a message that indicates that
you have an unplugged network cable, you can type network cable unplugged. You can choose a previously solved thread
to see if your question has already been answered. If the solution does not answer your question, go back to the related category board and
make your own post. Click the New Post button. Give your post a descriptive title. This title will become the name of the URL
for your post. Type the title into the Subject line. Use the Body section to explain your problem. It is important to include following in your post: Describe the problem, Give the model number of the product you are
asking about, Mention the operating system you are using, Give the error message you are seeing, and describe any hardware or software changes
you are experiencing. You can sign up to receive an email when someone
answers your question. Click to check the box under Notifications
that says Email me when someone replies. An email will be sent to the email address
for your account. Click Post to submit your question. That’s all there is to it! You can find additional helpful videos at and on our YouTube channel,
