As a European party, ALDE – the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe, decided to create its manifesto for the European elections in 2019 with a different approach as other parties have. The ALDE organizes ten different expert panels. One of these panels took place today at the NEOS Lab in Vienna, regarding the topic of mobility and infrastructure. The process started in march and will be ready for voting at the annual ALDE-congress on the 9th of November in Madrid. A very important aspect concerning mobility is the topic of digitalisation. We already made a big progress thanks to the European Single Market. However, changes are happening so fast, politics are struggling to keep pace. I’m confident as a liberal, that we will be able to set milestones for the future and create a single market for mobility. Such market could be beneficial not only for economy, but also for climate and humans.
