Database Activity in Moodle 3.0

Database Activity in Moodle 3.0

Database activity in Moodle 3.0 There are two improvements to the
database activity. When creating a new database and setting
the entries to Require approval, unapproved entries are now highlighted
for the teacher and the user who added the entry. It’s also possible to prevent database
entries from being edited once they’ve been approved. We’re in the database set up screen of a new database
activity and in the Entries section we will set
Approval required to yes and Allow editing of approved entries to no. Once the database activity is available
and students have added entries to it, when we log in as a teacher we can
easily see unapproved entries highlighted in red.. in Single view and in List view’ If we approve an entry the highlighing disappears.

  1. I work with professors – in one case, the Nursing professors want to have students put in their hours (per week) of hours working at the local hospital. This is added up at the end of the semester by the professor. It is possible to have the Database Activity add it up ?
