Cool Tips – Outlook Web App Folders


Cool TIPS – Folders and Favorites
Microsoft Office 365 Outlook Web App. The Outlook Web App has two
sections of email folders The first section is your “Favorites”
folders. Those are the folders that use most often you could put any folders up into this Favorites section so you can access them quickly. Than there are “your name’s” folders. Those are
the folders that were migrated over from Zimbra. You should do a quick scan of those
folders to make sure that all of them did migrate over to your account. Now let’s look at using favorites. Using favorites is very easy. You just
go to the folder that you want to list up in
your favorites and click the star next to the folder. It
floats the folder all the way up to the top so its easily accessible. To remove that folder back down to the
regular list, just click that star again and remove that
folder. Let’s create delete folders now. To
create a new folder just click the plus next to your account
name. Enter the folder name and hit Enter. Your new folder will be added to the
very bottom of your list. To get that folder in alphabetical order
with the rest to the folders just go, the top and click your refresh button. Verify it in the right order and if you want to add it to your
favorites list just click the star. And when you add folders to your
favorites list actually just adding a link to your main folder. To remove that folder you can’t do it
from the favorites list. If you right-click you’ll see there’s no
“Delete.” But you can remove it from favorites.
You have to actually go down to your actual folder and right-click that
folder. Right click, choose Delete, and confirm the deletion. Remember when
you delete the folder, you are going to remove all the content
