Would it work if the anti-virus software that have a firewall and its configured properly to remote allow desktop?

  7. my ip not changing. theres bit differnet my default gateway is 192.168.0.1 and now ip 4 address is 192.168.0.102 help me bro.

  8. lol, why the fuck can't Microsoft themselves make this information available in their set-up instructions?

Morons. Need to be an IT professional to know how to navigate these settings, and on top of it the idiots can't even get a simple drop-down menu to work in their "remote desktop assistant" app.

    Really annoying.

  9. I'm stuck on the Windows Firewall bit… because I use BitDefender, and "Remote Desktop" is not listed, and I haven't got a clue how to find the application in the system files.

  11. Thank you so much for this detailed walk through. Worked like a charm. two questions:
1 – does the port have to be 3389? or could it be anything I want?
2 – is dynu.com completely free for RDC? or will this be a "trial" period and you'll have to start paying after 30 days or so for your domain name?

  12. It worked. Totally.
This is the standard solution to error 0x104 on Android rd client.
Well it's not the first day Microsoft being not friendly on using (and unhelpful when you have problems)

I was brought here from this article: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows8_1-networking/how-to-connect-to-pc-with-app-microsoft-remote/1ee02966-4bd7-4452-8d4a-bef9d2e4db37?auth=1

And you see this user found this video himself/herself lol. Thanks anyway, Techno-Mattan.

  15. Is this will work in my laptop?
    I'm running WINDOWS 10 HOME SINGLE LANGUAGE (c) 2017
as far as I know remote desktop is for windows 10 pro only.

  16. Thanks for this. Been trying for ages to get this working with no success, but after watching your video it worked the first time. Thanks again.

  17. Very thorough tutorial! 🤔 However I'm looking to do the opposite. I wish to sit at my PC and control an Android device slideshow, from anywhere in the world. Any ideas on how to achieve this? Thanks 😎

  18. YES!!! Thank you so much. I spent an hour trying to get help from the Microsoft support folks this morning and they were *useless*. This worked flawlessly; you rock.

  19. Hey guys, I want to try and help any of you struggling with this because I was too:

If you cant find your PC:

    1.Enter Control Panel
2.in the search box type "advanced sharing settings"
    3. Click Manage Advanced Sharing Settings
    4. Check the "Turn on network discovery" (this is for private networks)

hopefully then It will find your PC.

    As for signing in:

if you have a Microsoft account linked to your user account, ignore what it tells you do to, just type your email and Microsoft account password, not windows password. It should hopefully connect then. 🙂

  20. Hi, so I have a Microsoft account instead of a local user account which prevents me from setting a password as the highest authority is the microsoft account. I cant log in using my microsoft account password and i cant change the password. The only work around i can think of is to create a new local user account and transfer all my data over / share it with the local user account. Any suggestions or work arounds? Thanks.

  21. Untrustworthy downloads, unsecure website, setting some settings to "ALWAYS" This things are too much risky
