Community Forums in NJ for the Deaf and hard of hearing

Hello, New Jersey! Are you prepared for emergencies and natural disasters
like hurricane, wildfire, and major flooding? If you don’t feel prepared and want to share
information with others in New Jersey, New Jersey Department of Human Services’ Division of Deaf and Hard
of Hearing and DHCC will co-host two community forums. You can attend and share your experiences, stories and offer your tips and suggestions to help the State improve designing a better training programs
for Deaf and hard of hearing individuals. First community forum will be at the Ocean City Free
Public Library in Ocean City, NJ, on August 16th. This will take place in the morning from 10AM to Noon. After the forum, you
can enjoy the rest of your day at the beach or at the boardwalk. The second community forum is for people who live or work in
North Jersey or prefer to attend the forum on a weeknight. We will host the second forum at Union County College (UCC)
in Elizabeth, NJ, on August 26th, from 7pm to 9pm. We hope to see you there! Please join us. Thank you!
