Bill would boost Internet service in rural areas


ANOTHER STORY OUT OF WASHINGTON COULD HAVE AN IMPACT ON A LOT OF PEOPLE IN OUR VIEWING AREA. AN IOWA CONGRESSMAN HAS INTRODUCED A BILL TO ALLOW SMALL INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERS TO FOCUS ON SERVING RURAL AREAS – INSTEAD OF F-C-C REGULATIONS. CONGRESSMAN DAVE LOEBSACK SAYS IT’S IMPORTANT RURAL AREAS ARE CONNECTED – FOR THE SAKE OF THEIR ECONOMIES, HEALTH CARE AND EDUCATION.
